I thought you might find it interesting to see how many people will download the pre-release, and how many people will wait for the full release, so I made a little strawpoll.

You can now look into capsules and cockpits (if you want).

The KSPedia has been added, which allows you to access a TON of information about rocket design, space travel, and much more.

They've added the Asteroid Day parts (official mod) to the stock game.

They've added an inflatable heat shield.

Fairings can now deploy as a clamshell, and in as many sections as you want.

Wheels work a lot better now, with traction control and everything.

You now have a search bar in the VAB and SPH, that even understands descriptions like "orange fuel tank".

Hovering over a Kerbal's portrait now shows skill and level.

Orbits in the map view now show in which direction the craft is moving in a very slick way.

The game will be running on Unity 5, allowing for much better performance, and 64-bits support.
